It's times like this when buried doubts arise within again. When memories that I still can't quite fathom surface again. What is the rationale behind not seeing the need to bring your little daughter to the doctor's when she had a high fever of close to 40 degrees? When your daughter received a rat's bite outside the streets, was it really not necessary at all to bring her to the clinic (just so that at least she feels better, even if the bite was not exactly deep)? When you berated her, asking her what was the use of studying so much when she doesn't even understand the psychology of old people, and then proceeded to hang up on her - have you forgotten that she had actually broke down over the same issue just a few months ago? When you had a baby who was born so prematurely that she had to be monitored in an incubator for over a month, how did you see it fit to hand her over to the care of another person who is much older, and who probably needs much more care and concern from others too? Have you ever seen the disappointment and sadness in her eyes while she was growing up during her early childhood years, whenever you bid her goodbye after dinner every night and went back to your own house - leaving her in another house? Did you ever realize that she was actually confused about her own parentage when she was young?
Tell me, how much do you actually love me?
